Life in Vahakni- our neighborhood and QSI-Yerevan.

I thought I would post some random pictures of life around our house and the school. My next random picture task will be to get pictures while we are out and about at the market, downtown, etc.
One of the shipment boxes that made it to our house for the kids to play in. It has been a playhouse, drawing pad, and now the slide. Lots of fun!

Preston loves watching Shake by Mercy Me. It's on repeat all the time!  This is what he does while I get ready.

Rough life, but someone has to do it! Audrianna relaxing in her room.

Right behind our house, the 'back yard' that we use to play soccer, volleyball, and tag. Dayton's friend from school lives over here as well.

Close to our house, part of the walk home.

Continuing on the walk to/from school and also towards more of the neighborhood.

Our front door

The outside patio- laundry day! No dryers here and all the clean laundry airs for all to see! Haha!

Playing with some of the neighbors.

My sweet little Preston loved this!

On the way home from school looking at the 'pond' and at more of the neighborhood. The walk is usually a fun one. You must watch where you're walking, lots of rocks, mud if they are irrigating, and maybe even snakes or frogs could be in your path.

Looking to the north of the school.

This is the back entrance and how we walk to school. This is also looking at the playground.

Almost to school!

Trying to get a panorama view at the front entrance of things around the school.

When at the market you must get your produce weighed prior to the checkout counter. They then mark it after scanning. This bunch of bananas cost 871 drams which is about $1.80.

We've been doing well here. Once school started things got busy on us! I've got more first day pictures left to post also a couple side trips we've taken. I'll get those done as soon as I grade the math test from Friday! Haha!
Love and miss you all!  We love hearing from you all...keep us posted on your lives too!
