I've been in my room a few times this last week. Looking for things, setting up my room, and trying out the new curriculum. There is only one teacher per grade level so I'm on my own to do what I want- I guess. It sure makes me miss my collaboration meetings. Everyone always brings good things to the table, I know I'll miss that from Reed!
As of right now, I'm at 13 students. Wow! I will also meet my para on Monday. Yes, I just said Para. I get a para and I only have 13 students. I don't even want to tell my teacher friends about the amount of prep time I have too. The schedule looks pretty sweet on paper. We start school at 8:20 and go until 3. There is after school activities that go until 4. So contract is 8-4. Not bad! I'm getting a little more nervous for the 10 YOC, but at the same time am excited for the different challenge this age level will bring. I'll have to remember to post pictures of my classroom. I forgot to do that the other day when I was in there prepping.

| This is on my walk home. |
| There is the big pond and a little bit of trail walk to get home, but I love the walk instead of driving! I haven't done it with the kids yet in the morning so my opinion may change on Thursday. :) |

All teachers are coming back on Monday. Should be exciting to meet all of the local staff and a couple other teachers that I haven't met. Robbie has been planning and working lots for the first couple of days. I'm excited to see him in action as Director Reno! :) We definitely are missing all of our friends and family, but have been busy prepping for the new school year. The local PSG- Parent Support Group- is sponsoring a back to school BBQ on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to meeting more of the families. Thus far people have been more than welcoming and opening their arms to us. It truly has been a great feeling to be a part of the family feel.
We are planning to go around this weekend so will be posting our adventures from the weekend soon...love and miss you all!!
